Wow! I really like this netbook. I had no problem following the installation instructions manual and battery charger for the first time. The rest of the process was easy because the operating system I have taken the steps. I totally think this is the way to go if you need computing power on the move, but not all features of laptops. Its ideal for reading email processing word and then talking to their grandchildren built-in webcam. Screen size is very clear and I am thinking buying an external DVD drive for him, so my grandchildren or to watch movies anywhere! I especially liked the plug N play USB ports

When you need a little PC, but not a lot of PC
I had the opportunity to try before notebooks and have been satisfied with the small screen, a keypad, and "cheap" toy feel. However, when given the opportunity to review the eCafe, I jumped on it. I'm a Mac user, but sometimes you need a PC to work. That's where this comes in very handy.
The main reason I needed PC was so that I could do some work that requires a remote PC. I am happy to report that this netbook works great for that. Recently, a friend needs to use its printer in my house and made the work more easily by using this equipment. I have taken this team to a couple of fairs and was all I needed. It is smaller and a little lighter than my 13-inch MacBook and I can put it in a little messenger bag. I have not tried to use for emails strong computer … fair and web browsing. But as your information, does not meet the specifications of the online games like World of Warcraft.
I had a little trouble the battery properly, but after a few tries, it is working fine. I think the blue with bamboo design is nice and the keyboard is a bit better than others netbooks I've tried. The netbook is 10.75 inches wide by 7.5 and the screen is 8.75 by 5 inches that is 10 "diagonal. I have not tried this one yet, but netbooks have found ideal for carrying a computer to show a presentation when you have to bring your own projector and a laptop.
I'll give this 5 stars because I think it's a good netbook. I'm not giving 5 stars as a full-powered computer. So by the time you need a little PC, but not great amount of PC, the ECAF may be the machine for you.

Great netbook!
I must say I really like this eCafe Hercules Netbook. Works great and starts very fast.
However, this is my first interaction with a notebook. I mainly use a laptop and two desktop computers. Since the work laptop is granted, I only use it for work related items. When I'm home I have to use one of two desktop computers for email, surfing, etc. I have been using the netbook. It is very convenient. Now you can check email or Facebook from the comfort of my easy chair in the living room. Something I've never thought of before, but now a requirement and I can not believe that it is conducting my internet time the comfy chair in my living room. Of course simple advantage, but I'm a simple guy.
There some things I had before, like the keyboard. It is slightly smaller than the keyboard of my laptop, but then it's not a laptop, a netbook. The screen is also wider and shorter. That was a problem at first because my Mozilla bar top was taking up too much space, so you customize the toolbar up and now there is much screen space.
I used the netbook in two recent business trips. That worked perfectly. The hotels have wireless and quickly connect netbook after just a few quick keystrokes. Very simple, very fast. The three USB ports are very nice as well that there are two on one side and the third is on the other side, which is a nice feature. I also like the SD card reader. That will be a great benefit when we go on vacation. We took lots of digital photos that will be good for downloading to the netbook of each day and then email them to family and friends on holiday progresses. And with a 250 GB hard drive, which stores a lot of pictures!
So far it has only been two problems with the netbook. The second day was using the battery stopped working. I took out the battery and replace, and it worked very well since. The second problem was with the up key arrow. I had to push much harder than the other keys to work properly. That lasted about a week. I notice that when you press a hundred times more or less, and its been working fine since.
ps: my wife loves this netbook as well. But she has a problem with it. When netbook is in its "sleep" state, the power flickers. While it does not look like much, it's kind of brilliant in a dark room. It would be nice if had an option to disable the flashing button. We made a dream state for many hours and the flashing button does not seem to draw battery power much more so than mild discomfort when we are watching TV at night and left the netbook on the coffee table, not really a big deal.

Very portable and easy to use, just limited by its size
I was especially pleased with ECAFE and its portability and ease of use. ECAFE weaknesses are evident in terms of size. For a laptop that is light, as small as a Daytimer and offers easy access to word processing and Internet, this is an excellent product. The keyboard requires setting a minimum size of a regular keyboard. Users to easily adapt and find that writing and moving is no problem. I found myself closer to see the screen better, but that comes with the size and know that this is it. The screen displays images and videos very well. The battery seems to last the age of 6 hours. Another positive is going on and starts up quickly. The strongest point for me is the lightness and ease of use in meetings and other places outside the office. It is very convenient to use in the first round and is less visible to others who may be distracted.
I have found OpenOffice applications are appropriate and my MSWord documents translated without problems so far. The webcam seems to work well, too.
No DVD / CD, so buyers need to know that when considering the purchase.
If you are aware of the specifications and limitations of this machine and these are acceptable to you, I think you would be happy with what it offers and provides.

Small value fast, good – is a bit!
I've been using this little gadget a few days ago, and it takes some time to adjust. I love the size keyboards full – on my laptop and desktop, so it takes some getting used to the smaller version (though not as small as the keyboard on my PDA!)
This is my first netbook (I've had several laptops and desktops), and I use it mainly for e-mail when I'm on the road, and store photos. I will shoot from 20 to 50 concerts a weekend, and stored in an external device is the way forward. Taking my laptop huge field is a pain – that is 1 / 4 the size.
Since I used to install the software CD's, having to install via download everything, over my network or from a USB key takes some getting used to. I installed some programs and try to install the Canon software this weekend. A USB stick is a must-have accessories.
If this view seems a little disjointed, it's because I'm writing a couple of days, add and edit as I use the netbook ….
Connections: Wired and wireless. I used a cable connection so far.
Webcam: so small that it has lost at first. Easy to use, average quality.
Display: Bright, shiny. Plastic (I've seen referred to elsewhere in the glass.) Heavy album. When the screen entitled a little too far back, the netbook can turn back. There is no harm (unless you are on the edge of a table) – just an annoyance.
Body: Close tightly, no lockout / closure is necessary, the speakers are very small, just enough, but there is a headphone jack (still sounds metallic – I would call Sound quality 6 out of 10.) Playing with the graphic equalizer in Windows Media Player help. Base seems a little weak (after all it's plastic), but well done. There is no simple way to take something away, so it is obviously not designed for adaptation (adding more memory, for example.)
I installed Skype – the phone becomes a hand with the integrated webcam and microphone. AVI video also saw (from 750K to 1.5 gig) – play without problems
Adobe Installed Lightroom is really good and full of life – I'm surprised how fast it works. Can not wait to use it in 1200 RAW files and see what he does. I'm not trying to install Photoshop – the concert 1 of ram and a little anemic for it.
Hopefully this will be my ideal "partner photographers" – to save my photos, make some modifications to the facility, allowing customers / clients preview images, then go home and go to my desk stronger for some serious issues.
So far I am quite impressed.

Great netbook with a fresh list of differentiating characteristics
Netbooks are committed, that no optical drives and have small keyboards. Since all these problems Netbooks suffer, I will leave and Windows 7 in this review.
That leaves features that make this netbook different. I have listed in my order of priority, the favorites in the first place.
1. Fantastic battery life. I have 5 hours in my first post, more than enough for most airline travel. The good thing is that netbooks fit into the tray in coach even if the person before of you leans back. With a standard laptop, usually have to tip the lid down when you lean back.
2. 250 GB hard! Nuff said.
3. fast processor for a netbook. It uses the fastest Intel Atom processor, making it faster than any netbook made more than 3 months or less.
4. Webcam and microphone built in. It also includes software good web camera. works great with Skype.
5. SD slot built in. Along with the 250GB drive, the netbook becomes the ideal travel companion for photographer. I'm not sure how many netbooks have slots SD, but I'm glad it does.
6. Includes e-mail program works well with multiple email accounts. This is a nice touch of a machine whose main purpose is to surf the web and e-mail.
7. OpenOffice comes pre-loaded. This is a blessing and a curse. The good news is that OpenOffice satisfy the vast majority of Microsoft Office needs. The other good news is, it is loaded, because the burden of commercial software like Microsoft Office on a netbook is difficult without a DVD drive. The curse is that when I tried to show a customer a powerpoint presentation with OpenOffice, which crashed. I'm not a star draw from this review because OpenOffice is a mistake, not a netbook error.
I am happy with this netbook. It is well done, and WLL lighten my load in one trip. Any criticism I have is equally true for any netbook, so do not waste time discussing here is not to recommend that you do not get a netbook if you have to load a amount of software from a CD / DVD. Five stars for a product from a company that knew nothing until he arrived.
