What is the process of recharging ink printer cartridges (color and black) at home?

you buy a kit. Look up your cartridge design to find out where to put the cartridge in the book that comes with it. insert the cartridge and are filled with ink, place a piece of tape over the hole and go. You may need to do some cleaning cycles the printer for consistent printing later. I have IMS kit from Costco. about $ 20 for two bottles of black, one cyan, magenta, yellow, photo cyan and photo magenta. i have been refilling cartridges for many years. i usually can fill up a cartridge 5 or 6 times before it is too clogged and I get good results already. A word of advice: Do not wait until the cartridge is empty to fill it will get better performance, thereof. also: some cartridges (Epson, but some other brands as well) have a chip on the cartridge so that you remember, if it is empty and prevents refilling the same. There are devices to restore some of the brands.
