I can’t believe I couldn’t find this out on the web :0?
I have a Canon Pixma MX860 All-In-One Printer. All I need to know is the specs for the power cord. Canon got lazy and didn’t put this info anywhere on the the printer. Just so you know what I’m looking for: the input volts and the output volts & amps so that I can use a compatible AC Adapter. Just to ensure we are on the same page what I seek will look like this:
INPUT 100-240v~1.8A 50-60Hz
OUTPUT 19V — 6.3 A
I would be embarrassed if the above was the right adapter for this printer doh! But as of yet I still don’t have a clue and I need to use my printer BAD! Thank you for taking the time to read my question.
According to what I could see in the manual for your printer, all you need is the power cord. I didn’t see any reference to an AC power adapter. But it you have one that mounts onto the back of the printer, then you’ll need to get the same one. You should be able to call Canon and ask them for the part number you need and order it, but all I saw that you need is a AC power cord with the two prong holes on the end that plug into the printer, there is no AC adapter I can see.
Here’s a link to the manual:

Best of luck.
