Solution for Canon Pixma IP 2600 is out of color ink, but I only want to print Black? ?
Yes, my color cartridge is not ink and I do not care – I just want to use the black, but not let me! I get an error message that says I'm out and color replacement should. the only option is canceled at that time! I tried changing to grayscale only, but that does not help. I have no other cartridge. You may have some generic black ink around here – it hurts anything by completing the sleek black color cartridge ink? Do not let me! There is no option to click on anything except "Cancel Printing" at the bottom of the popup. It freezes all activity in the printer and screen – I can not return to the screen print function until I got to "Cancel Print dialog box appears.
Just select the print options for the use of black ink only. Then, when you impression you get a message that is about to print with black ink only, click OK and have no problem. I have this exact printer and have been using only black ink for about a year without problems. Just be sure to leave the spent cartridge in the color section and have no problems.
