How to continue printing with low ink- Canon PIXMA MX860?
I have a Canon PIXMA MX860, that won’t continue printing because it says it is out of Cyan (it might be low, but don’t think it’s out). So, I switched preferences to Gray-scale and tried Sepia, too. Still won’t let me print until I replace the Cyan. This doesn’t seem right. At least there should be a way to bypass this, but I am stuck. How to continue printing w/o the Cyan?

Sorry, my friend, but this is quite a common occurrence with modern day printers. They tend not to function if one, or more, of the inks is empty. Unfortunately, you’ll probably find that you can’t even scan with it, even though scanning doesn’t use ink.
