Inkjet vs Laser Toner Car – Any difference?

I found Brother HL-2030 LASER PRINTER, but I'm still confused as me Laser Printer can help save on ink. When I buy a new car i inkjet prints usually five pages of that day, then the printer untoched cam a couple of months a print one or two pages. Basically isn't used car lot. Someone suggested laser toner. Can you explain how laser toners are better than inkjet carts? Does it last until it is empty or there is the possibility of dry or somewhere else no?
