Is it possible to install ink jet printer HP3535 and HP 2400 scanner with OS or Fedora KNOPPIX?
I am new to Linux and just want try a new distribution of Linux and open source art. Is it possible to install the ink jet printer and scanner HP 2400 HP3535 Fedora Core OS or Knoppix? My dear friends, can you explain how I can do that? What are websites that anyone can get that information easily?
In terms of the printer, make sure you get the name of the printer and then look in CUPS.org accurate. CUPS stands for Common Unix Printing System, and is the standard for printer drivers on linux. For the scan, which seems to be not compatible. here is a link: In http://www.sane-project.org/unsupported/hp-scanjet-2400c.html knoppix vs fedora terms are completely different distros (Fedora is based on Red Hat and Debian-based Knoppix), but since both are important, driver frameworks be ported to both. I suggest you first try knoppix, since it is live and exemplary hardware autoconfiguration.
