Can a printer catridge to dry reused if no amount of ink left?

I am using Lexmark Inkjet Compaq. Currently, The printer contains a black-17 cartridge. The catridge has enough ink, but the tragedy is that the ink has dried up due to long unused. Catridge Can be reused?

Risk No. obstruction other areas of Pinter.

Lexmark sucks!
